Welcome to the Dana Barros Sportsclub

In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them enough to give them an opportunity to achieve greatness.

Dana Barros has made it his mission to help underpriviledged youth recieve an alternative, by offering professional training in basketball through the Barros Foundation. His extensive experience in his professional career, as well as his own upbringing in the tough city streets of Mattapan, give him a unique position to mentor and train children to future success.

Dana is currently holding clinics and camps in the boston area for America's young people who need our help, giving them an opportunity to escape by learning the game of basketball. Theres no better way to learn the game than to be educated by a basketball pro. Too many children and teens are not receiving the guidance they need to graduate from high school, to avoid the effects of violence, gangs and drugs or to become responsible adults. Check out our youth portion of the site for more information, or to sign up for premium training.
